Small-Sided Games: A Coaching Gateway to the Fundamentals of the Game 

At this year’s Coach Education Week, Mass Youth Soccer’s technical staff will present a seminar on the use of small-sided games as a gateway for new and inexperienced coaches to deliver the Fundamentals of the game to your players.

In this 90-minute presentation, coaches will learn the evidence-based reasoning behind the effectiveness of small-sided games as a teaching tool. The session will highlight how small-sided games support the development of Fundamental skills, decision-making and movements of the game, while also creating an environment that is FUN and game-based for all players.
